"Jake," she said still in disbelief.

"Why?" asked Jake who came closer to Maria.

"You," said Maria, turning to Rose for a moment. "Rose said you were home, why are you here?" he added.

"Yeah, I decided to go back. Wanted to rip out the eyes of the guy you've just been with. But lucky, he's not here now," said Jake, looking at Maria sharply.
