Chapter 56 - Jupiter-sized problems

Gabriel POV

I stiffly got out of the car and almost sprinted up to my room. The packhouse was full of people, but I didn’t care if I bumped into anyone. I just wanted to lock myself in my room and cry.

Rejecting Olivia was a lot harder than I thought. The pain was still lingering and I had to take deep breaths to keep myself from falling apart.

I slammed my bedroom door shut and fell to the ground, my emotions becoming too much for me to handle.

“I’m sorry.” I whimpered, hoping that the Moon Goddess could hear me.

This had to be my punishment. I betrayed my Alpha and lost my mate because of it.

There was nothing left for me to live for now. All I wanted was for Linnea to come rescue the pack so that I could be put out of my misery.

I was startled by a knock at the door and my mother’s voice was heard on the other side.

“Gabriel. Are you in there?” She asked.

I wiped my tears and glazed at my reflection in the mirror. It wasn’t a surprise that I looked terrible. But she wasn’t
