Chapter 30: The skilled surgeon

Martina appeared unfazed by the words spoken about her as she gracefully made her way towards the entrance of the hospital. Everywhere she went, people gathered around her, admiring her beauty and poise. Over the past few years, Martina had become accustomed to this attention. As she entered the lobby of the hospital, all eyes were upon her once again, and the room fell silent in awe of her presence.

Antonio approached Martina with joy in his eyes,

"Martina, you're finally here!" he exclaimed. In response, Martina raised an eyebrow and smiled sarcastically,

"Did someone finally remember me?" Antonio chuckled and shook his head in amazement,

"You know how it is with your friend when she's pregnant, and now with little Michele, who is also quite a handful. She keeps asking me when she can meet your son Luis. I think our friendship might soon become official since my daughter is in love with your son," he explained, and they both chuckled,

“I think that would be great,” Martina said.
