Chapter 48 A Familiar Roar

I know I had a deal with Belphegor before, and even then, I was hesitant to make another deal with the devil. Making a pact with one is a different story. As a hunter, forming a pact with a demon would tarnish one’s soul. Although I don’t exactly know it’s effects since there isn’t much information about hunters forming pacts with demons. I do know that it would make it easier for a demon to corrupt one’s soul after forming a pact with them.

I worry about myself for making a pact with two powerful demons. Just how far is my soul going to be corrupted? Then again, the thoughts didn’t linger the moment I thought about the advantages of it. Mammon said that I would be able to use them in battle, which is beneficial in itself since my goal in this life is to stop the demon princes from causing the extinction of humans. I had lived a long life in the previous timeline, so if I am going to have to sacrifice myself just to get to my goal, I guess tarnishing my soul is just a small price f
