Chapter 2 (Devin's POV)

You want me to be honest I am sure.

When I took Vicky to my cottage I wasn't even dreaming about this.

My only goal was to propose to her somewhere private and a little romantic.

But right now, she was lying underneath me and kissing me as if tomorrow the world would end.

And me? I couldn't even believe that this day was here.

I know I sound like such a man.

But I was ready to wait for Vicky until after our marriage, but she decided to do this step now. And the trust she showed and gave me was something I would never forget.
