The restaurant

ALDO walked into the bedroom to find Sarah lying in bed. Staring listlessly at the ceiling. With an inaudible sigh, he calmed himself down as he decided how to deal with the little woman in his bed.

“Hey there, sleeping beauty.” he said in a low husky voice as he stalked towards her.

“I’ve thought about it.” She said coldly, in a voice so low and strained, it made his heart ache.

“About what love?” he asked, battling the urge to give in to her every whim.

“A good reason. It’s the third day, today. I have a reason.”

He took a minute to understand her words but it soon became clear to him what she was talking about. “OK, then why don’t you tell me about it over dinner? Do you want to go out? There is this beautiful restaurant by the lake. You’ll love it.”

She didn’t reply. Not because she didn’t want to go out, but because she didn’t want to give him a chance. At this point, one might think, ‘Wouldn’t it be better to go out and find a chance to escape?’ but Sarah knew bette
