chapter 4

Aethelfrith's POV

"She is here," I said to Leon.

"Who is here?" Leon asked as he moved closer to me.

"Tryamon," I said to Leon.

"How do you know that?" Leon asked, surprised.

"I can smell her, I can hear her talk and laugh." I told Leon.

Without a second thought,I excused myself from the table and approached Tryamon. As I got closer, I noticed the same beautiful tattoo on her arm, just as I had seen in the picture, in my dreams and when I met her in the kitchen that evening

"Tryamon?" I called out softly, unsure if it was really her.

Tryamon turned toward me, her eyes meeting mine with a mix of surprise and curiosity. She recognized me, the man whose dreams she has been manipulating, but she hadn't expected to see me in person.

"Aethelfrith," she whispered, a smile playing on her lips.

"I never thought we would meet like this." She smirked.

I couldn't help but smile in return, relief washing over me. The connection I had felt was real, and now, finally, we stood face to face.

As Tryamon and I locked eyes, time seemed to stand still. The bustling noise of the ice cream parlor faded into the background, leaving only the two of us in that moment. Her smile and the way her eyes sparkled sent shivers down my spine.

"Tryamon," I breathed, barely able to contain my excitement.

"It's truly you."She nodded, her smile widening.

"Yes, Aethelfrith. It's me." She said

I couldn't help but be captivated by her presence. Her beauty was enchanting, and her voice, now that I heard it in person again, held a melody that resonated deep within me. She was beautiful just the way I have imagined, I must say she is the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.

"I've been searching for you," I confessed, my voice filled with a mix of wonder and longing.

"Ever since that night in the kitchen, I couldn't shake off the feeling that our connection was something extraordinary." I said to her,

"It's nice meeting you again Aethelfrith" Tryamon reached for a handshake.

As I shook Tryamon's hand, a jolt of electricity seemed to pass between us. It was as if an invisible bond had formed, connecting us on a deeper level. I could sense her power, her essence intertwining with mine.

The intensity of the moment left me momentarily speechless, but Tryamon's eyes held an understanding that mirrored my own. She knew that this connection between us was something extraordinary, something that went beyond mere chance or coincidence.

" I've felt it too, Aethelfrith," Tryamon said softly, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and vulnerability.

"There's a force drawing us together, a bond that defies explanation."I nodded, unable to tear my gaze away from her.

"Tell me, Tryamon, who are you? What is the meaning behind our connection?" I asked her

"You must trust me Aethelfrith" she said looking into my eyes as if she was looking for something.

She took a deep breath, her expression turning serious.

"Aethelfrith, I am not entirely human, you must know that by now. I possess powers and abilities that surpass the realm of mortals and that of your realm too." I nodded my head still listening.

"The tattoo you've seen, the dreams you've experienced, they are all glimpses into the truth of my existence."

My heart raced as I absorbed her words. A mix of curiosity and awe swirled within me. Tryamon's presence had always felt otherworldly, but now I had confirmation that there was something truly extraordinary about her.

"What are you and what do you want with me?" I questioned her calming, so as not to bring attention to ourselves.

"I am beyond your imagination and with time you will find out what and who I am" she chuckled.

"What do you want with me?" I questioned her, my voice filled with a mix of curiosity and concern.

Tryamon looked at me, her gaze filled with a gentle understanding. She took a moment to gather her thoughts before responding.

"Aethelfrith, our meeting may have seemed coincidental, but sometimes, fate works in mysterious ways," she said softly, her voice carrying a hint of vulnerability.

"There is something about you, a connection that goes beyond chance encounters."

I listened intently, captivated by her words. Tryamon continued, her voice filled with sincerity.

"I can't fully explain it yet, but being around you feels different, special," she confessed, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.

"There is a depth to our connection, and I believe that we were meant to meet, to intertwine our lives in some way."

As I absorbed her words, a warmth spread through my chest. Tryamon's presence had held a certain enchantment, and now, knowing that our meeting held a deeper significance, I couldn't deny the growing attraction and affection within me.

"I feel it too," I admitted, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips.

Tryamon reached out and gently took my hand, her touch sending a surge of electricity through me. "Let's embrace this connection, Aethelfrith, and discover where it leads us. We may not know the exact reason for our meeting, but we can explore it together."

I nodded, a mixture of excitement and anticipation swirling within me. "I'm ready to embark on this journey with you, Tryamon. Let's see where this connection takes us and what wonders lie ahead." I smiled.

"I must admit meeting in that kitchen was the first time I ever met you but after, that was my doing" she admitted feeling guilty.

"Tyramon," the same lady from the kitchen called her again.

"Take" she handed me a piece of paper.

"I must go now, call me, let's see again. '' She smiled sheepishly before she left the parlor. Leon came to the table I was at.

"Damm, she is pretty," Leon exclaimed.

"I know right" I smiled at him

"I think she likes me" I blushed a little, Leon stood looking lost.

"So?" Leon asked

"I think I like her too."I said to him,

"Aethelfrith, the last time I checked you were betrothed to Crimson." Leon said to me, bring me back to reality.

"I would sort it out but first I need to know what destiny has installed for me" I said to Leon.

I recounted the encounter with Tryamon to Leon, sharing the details of our meeting, her confession about her non-human nature, and the inexplicable connection we felt. Leon listened intently, his expression shifting between surprise and concern.

"Aethelfrith, this is quite a revelation," Leon remarked, his voice filled with a mix of caution and curiosity.

"Are you sure you want to pursue this connection with Tryamon, especially considering your betrothal to Crimson?"Leon asked with his voice filled with concern.

I sighed, understanding the gravity of the situation.

"Leon, I know my engagement to Crimson complicates things, but I can't ignore the feelings I have for Tryamon.

There's something extraordinary about her, something that resonates deep within me." Leon nodded, his expression showing support.

"Love can be a complex and unpredictable force, my friend. If you truly believe that your connection with Tryamon is worth exploring, then I trust your judgment."

"Thank you, Leon," I said, grateful for his understanding.

"I'll sort out my situation with Crimson, but for now, I want to discover the truth behind Tryamon's existence and the depth of our connection."

I was curious about the paper but I wanted to wait till I get home before checking it, I tucked the piece of paper Tryamon had given me safely into my pocket, cherishing the anticipation of our next meeting.

I wonder what could be written on that paper?
