I ran desperately through the forest until I reached the entrance of the cave, where my heart pounded in my chest. My mind was filled with anguish, but the determination to find Hope propelled me forward. I entered the darkness of the cave, my heightened senses capturing the slightest details of the surroundings.

Penetrating deeper, I glimpsed the faint light filtering through the entrance, revealing Hope's chained figure. She was huddled, her eyes wide with fear upon realizing my presence. Her cry for help echoed through the cave walls, but before despair could take over, I established the mental link with her.

"Hope, my daughter, it's me. I've come to get you," I whispered mentally, trying to convey calmness through the link. Still confused, Hope looked around, searching for the source of the voice in her mind.

"Who are you? Where is my mother?" she asked hesitantly, her eyes fixed on me.
