"Obviously, darling, you won't congratulate me on the child? Finally, the Alpha will have the son he desires so much," she smirked.

I couldn't help but give her a skeptical look. There was something about the way she was acting that made me uncomfortable, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

The doctor glanced at Olivia, considering the situation. "Well, since both of you are here, I'll examine you in sequence. Lily, I'll check the results of your test first and then examine you."

I nodded, still feeling uncomfortable about Olivia's presence. While the doctor analyzed my blood sample, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was going on, something that Olivia was hiding. As the nurse assessed her and asked her some questions, recording them in her chart, I sat down next to the Beta and questioned him.
