I sat in my seat as we continued the drive to the castle. So much has happened tonight, some good, some bad. I looked over to Connor, who was staring out the window, I cleared my throat, and he turned to me, “Did you mean what you told Neil and my Father?” He grasped my hands and smiled lightly, “No.” He said plainly, “You, Nuray, will be equal to me. You won’t have to ever be afraid of me, I can promise you that.
