She was walking our way when I noticed, and it was far too late to try and cover the look of surprise on my face. Her long ears twitched and her fingers came up to touch the thick braid of hair that hung over her shoulder.

“Make yourselves comfortable.” She told the two of us, her voice both warm and soft. “The tailors will be here shortly.”

“Tell me, are you related to the previous water nymph?” Atlas asked, with a tilt of his head. His towering height and deep voice made him horribly intimidating. The water nymph flushed, most likely from a bit of fear. It was a strange sight, considering her pale blue skin. Her blush seemed to turn her a few shades deeper, almost cerulean in color. “Or is there another reason you’re wearing her face?”

“Oh—well, it was Adelina’s idea.” She sputtered, her personality far different from Melia’s. Whoever she was, she was flustered and a bit afraid

are they just going to visit all the different courts then go home and find 10 years have passed? seems pointless

I have read all your other books and loved them. finding this one difficult though. only at 70% and spent £30. bit bored with this one. they need to go back go the human realm for a bit. even if they aren't there long. but it needs a change of pace.
