Eliza paced the room, her hand resting on her belly. She was waiting ro Alice to wake up but part of her wanted to run, to flee Black Mountain. She felt the pull to him. She had felt it before with James. She felt sick thinking about it. She couldn’t stop thinking about his ruffled blond hair and deep chocolate brown eyes.
