Chapter XXVI
In a fraction of seconds, the atmosphere inside the castle changed. Men screamed in pain clutching their grievous wounds as the Dark Creatures attacked their companions. Adalis was watching his knights beating his enemies so easily, sitting comfortably on his throne.
In a few minutes, the centaurs and ogres were already on the ground, burned from head to toe because of the poisonous liquid that the Tentaculios and Leonus threw.
Taegen and his friends were currently mastering their swords. They did their best to beat the knights and avoid being burned by one of the sticky creatures. The king felt responsible for the death of his subjects, as well as the wounded creatures. He felt guilty for summoning them to fight on his side knowing that his brother was unbeatable.

Taegen turned his head and saw the Dark Creatures screaming and transforming into dust. The pumas were groaning and hiding their face from the light. Taegen was playing the piano. The melody that reigned around the garden was so sad that even trees and plants moved slowly with the rhythm.All the servants looked at their King through the windows of the castle. Nylian finished signing some papers in his study. It was nearly the afternoon and the mansion was peaceful. Five weeks later, Jimmy's room was full of papers. They were around his bed, spread on the floor or his desk. The book Nylian bought for him didn't convince him of the Dark Creature's danger but rather gave him ideas of how to get rid of them. He wrote some plans and decided to send them to Ruvyn. Jimmy and the king were sitting on the edge of the bed, sighing heavily. The diamond-haired was worried about plenty of things such as Adalis preparing an attack against them for revenge, also the fear of his plan not working and finally about the duke getting mad at him. He felt bad for always making Nylian angry because of his selfishness. He only wished he would understand that he didn't fear the Prince or his evil creatures. Jimmy and Taegen screamed with pain when they felt their skin burning like fire. The guards ran to help them and shouted, "WE SHOULD LEAVE FROM HERE!" The two lovers turned their heads and gulped when they saw the Tentaculios and Leonus standing in front of them.Jimmy was having a hard time to breath. He was still not confident enough to believe that he is more powerful than any dark creature, especially when he's not alone this time, his lover and the guards were also in danger like him.He stared at Taegen who moved carefully to approach the two ogres and take his sword one of them was holding.The creatures with black slimy skin groaned when they saw him holding the silver weapon, they walked closer to them, reading to attack.Jimmy struggled to stand up, his legs got weaker because of fear, he looked at the king asking him for help.
