“You’re not going to leave without me, are you?” A man calls, jogging up to us. I remembered Kai from the brief time at the party. His golden hair fell in his earth colored eyes and he had about the same build as Zak, maybe a little shorter. I couldn’t help but notice how much he looked like Gabriel and wondered if they were related.

“Kai, right?” I held out my hand to shake his.
