Chapter Thirty-Two

The next evening, Zak and I sat in the car outside of a bustling bar out in the middle of the woods. We had driven nearly half the day to get here. I sized up the building, noticing it looked run down and kind of small. Not at all where I pictured a Lycan King might hang out.

“This is it?” I ask, scrunching up my nose.

“Looks can be deceiving.” Zak chuckles softly before taking a more serious note. “You remember everything I told you?”

“Yes sir.” I said, saluting him.

“El…” He groans.

“I remember Zak. Just trust me, okay?”
