Chapter Seven

The weekend came and went a little too fast for my liking. I lounged around most of the day Saturday and tried my best to avoid my Dad. Apart from him throwing his liquor bottle at me the other night, he had actually been pleasant. Well, as pleasant as he could be. On Sunday, I worked most of the day and was glad I got off earlier in the day so I could go to bed early and catch up on some sleep I desperately needed. 

I'd managed to push all thoughts of Zak from my mind by keeping myself busy or thinking of Ryan. I was still upset with Ryan over the events from Friday and I knew if I just stayed away from him, Kelsey would back off. Zak's words echoed through my mind. Is it worth it? Honestly, I didn't know Ryan well enough to answer that yet.
