The weekend came and went a little too fast for my liking. I lounged around most of the day Saturday and tried my best to avoid my Dad. Apart from him throwing his liquor bottle at me the other night, he had actually been pleasant. Well, as pleasant as he could be. On Sunday, I worked most of the day and was glad I got off earlier in the day so I could go to bed early and catch up on some sleep I desperately needed.

The next morning I left for work before my dad had gotten out of bed, making it easy to avoid him. I wasn’t sure how he would be after last night's events.
