Chapter Fifty-six

Dai's POV

Hana was reluctant to help me with getting to Lia, I set aside my pride and begged her to help me talk to Lia, she said she'll see what she can do. I called Lia and even sent messages but I didn't get any response, my calls were going straight to voice mail. Her phone has been off for three days and I'm wondering if Hana told her I had come to my senses. Is it the reason for her turning off her phone?. I am at the office when an idea pops in my mind to call HR and find out about Lia's holiday leave. Even though employees don't share what they do with their holiday leave, I still believe there could be something she mentioned to the head of HR which could help me reach out to her.

I have been to the house she stays at with her best friends but no one ever answers the gate, after two days of going there and no response, I assume they probably went on vacation. "Hello Mrs. Clara, please come to my office" leaving no time for pleasantries I hang up and wait for her.
