Chapter sixty-three

Dahlia's POV

I became mute and froze at the spot I was standing at looking into the eyes of my baby's father, for the first time in a few months, he didn't look like his powerful self. The Dai Japana I knew who was he'll bent on making my life a living hell looked tired and stressed. Sara felt Hana was keeping a secret when she arrived New York, we had to force it out of her.

She told us how Dai had been stalking Sara's home back in Tokyo and how he had been bugging her to help him win me back. I didn't believe my ears when she told us everything. So, I had just thought he won't be serious about finding me though I had to take on precautionary measures like, letting go of social media and just focusing on my Job at Rising Tech.

Standing here staring at the man who made me cry for many weeks, battling depression and pregnancy hormones. "Lia!" his voice comes out like a whisper which brings me back to the reality of things, I turn around and bolt out the closes exit out of this place. S
