Chapter 106

Kirklin got up, threw a fist in the air, and sat back on the bed. He didn’t understand how he got himself into this huge mess. “How can I convince Xandra that I’m sorry and let her know I won’t repeat any of those behaviors again?” He thought.

“The poor girl cannot even trust or love you anymore, d*ckhead!” He exclaimed to himself as he smacked his forehead. He brought the bracelet out from his pocket and opened the drawer that Alexandra had brought it out from in order to return it. As he opened the drawer, he saw a very familiar item; his executive pen that had gone missing some years ago.

He was confused over why it was in Alexandra’s drawer as he had never used that bedroom for anything.

“This pen got missing at the hotel in Paris if I’m not mistaken?” he thought.

Suddenly the door opened and he looked back. It was Alexandra who had come to pick up her things as she was ready to leave his house for good and stay with her parents-in-law pending the finalization of their divorce
