Chapter 108

Kirklin regretted how he had caused their beautiful love affair that started as a CEO-Assistant relationship to deteriorate to the extent that he assaulted, abused, and victimized her. He hated himself for all his actions, but he had to sort Alexandra out first before he would think of himself.

Alexandra cried so much and became very tired. Kirklin carried her to sit on the sofa and put her head on his chest so she could let out her tears. She narrated how she had attempted suicide and Kirklin pleaded with her never to think of suicide as an option to get out of a messy situation.

“Sweetheart, suicide is not an option when you are in trouble. Think of what could happen positively the next minute you are gone. Think of the sorrow you would cause your loved ones after you are gone. I know life could be hard at times but there is always light at the end of every tunnel.
