Alexandra hadn’t had the time to go to the pharmacy to buy emergency contraception because she got back to London very early and had been in a meeting since then.

Although her clothing was smeared with a combination of secretions last night, she wasn’t sure if the guy played safe enough. It would be disgraceful if she got pregnant from the act as she didn’t know how she would raise a child whom she didn’t know the father.

She decided to take a bus to the nearby pharmacy to buy the ‘morning-after pill’ to avoid ‘stories that touch the heart’. She searched her phone for information on how long someone can wait before taking the morning-after pill and breathed a sigh of relief when she got to know that she still had a couple of days to use it.
