Who killed my father

" You said I will be the one to bring her to you so what are you doing here ?" These were the words Lilith heard from the ground floor. It sounded like her father had just cried but who was he talking to?

" Well, I guess I changed my mind. I would like to take my mate to my home by myself. Moreover, it will save you the stress " she heard a very intimidating voice but she didn't like the way this person had talked to her father in their house.

She remembered hearing this person saying ' my mate ' which he had come to take her. Not only was he good at blackmailing her father, but he was also good at talking rudely to him. When she thought of it he was an Alpha and had probably thought that he was above her father.

She immediately stomped to the ground floor, only to be welcomed by two new faces, good-looking faces with black eyes that were fixed at her. She only had a short and an armless shirt on and she noticed the desire in one of the wolf's eyes.

The other wolf simply waved at her with a smirk on his face, she could easily tell that he was nice.

" This must be the female James has been hiding away from the world " the other wolf who seemed cunning walked up to her with a smirk on his face. He liked what he was seeing.

" Isaac, you should at least wait till she gets to your house, you can't possibly mark her here " James immediately blurted out. He could see that his daughter was very uncomfortable with what was happening.

Meanwhile, Lilith was awed, this was the wolf she would be mated to, she had silently crossed her fingers that it was the other wolf who had waved at her but as fate had it, it was the other.

" I don't think I can wait, I think my wolf is crazy '' he mockingly said before letting out a deep chuckle, together with his beta, Xavier. He seemed to have teased, Isaac's wolf calling for someone was the same as impossible which was why his beta chuckled when he said it.

" I think it's enough Isaac's, you are scaring her," Xavier said.

" Hmm, I think you are right, come let's go! " He held her by the hand but when she didn't move, Isaac's eyebrows creased. She had angered him and she was going to pay for that. Does it mean she didn't know the meaning of ' let's go '?

He brought his hands to her neck and tightened his grip on it. He tried to act nice but it seemed that she had started taking advantage of his niceness even before they had reached his house.

He leaned his face closer to hers and whispered with gritted teeth " let me just make it as a note of warning, I am not your father you can mess with, anything I say, you follow. Don't ever argue with what I say and never try what you just did else, I will kill you !"

James felt useless at that moment, he watched as his daughter was being mishandled by Isaac but he couldn't do anything. Moving an inch could make Isaac kill him instantly.

" Isaac, do you plan on killing her, how do you plan on being the Alpha if she dies? " Xavier stepped up to the scene, from the way Lilith had struggled to catch her breath, it was only a matter of time before she died.

After a few moments of silence, he finally let go of Lilith, took her hand, and dragged her out of James's house. This time, she was not stupid enough to refuse to go with him.

James immediately rushed to get her belongings and handed them over to Xavier. Immediately after they left, James fell to the floor and felt very disappointed in himself.

" I think you should calm down Isaac, you are making it look like she just committed a devious crime, she only refused to go with you " Xavier broke the intense silence in the car. He was the driver while Isaac sat in the passenger seat and Lilith, in the back seat.

Xavier, who didn't understand why Isaac chose Lilith of all the females, had constantly asked Isaac if there was anything he was keeping a secret but Isaac would always keep mute but there they were, with the female Isaac insisted he wanted and he had treated her like garbage.

Isaac seemed to have taken his part of the deal seriously, he didn't tell his beta and only friend even when they practically told each other everything they knew. He knew Xavier wouldn't be happy if he figured out that Isaac had kept such a secret away from him.

Isaac's and Lilith's eyes met for the briefest moment through the rare mirror before she immediately turned it elsewhere.

" I needed to teach her a lesson so she would know that she had been caged to a wolf that doesn't tolerate nonsense from wolves like her ". Isaac turned his gaze to the car window where he could see random humans.

Sometimes, he was jealous of the human race even if they were the weakest, they were free to do anything they wanted and did not need to belong to any pack to matter. They were protected by wolves and didn't even know it. The only thing he hated about them was the anger and envy they had for each other and even rage war amongst themselves.

" We are here " Xavier blurted out. They stopped at a

not-so-big house but anyone who had seen it would have known that the owner of the house was financially capable.

Lilith was dumbstruck by the sight before her, the surroundings were quite colorful and joyful. It had evergreen grass and trees scattered on the premises but the house was weirdly shaped but that didn't make it any less beautiful. For a man who was harsh like Isaac, he sure had a nice taste.

" Take her to her room, I have somewhere to be, " Isaac said.

Xavier and Lilith immediately got down from the car for Isaac to get in the driver's seat and drove out of the premises.

" Don't worry he is gone for a business meeting but you have me here " Xavier formed a seductive smile and gestured that she followed him while he carried her bag.

He showed Lilith her allocated room, it turned out that she would share a room with Isaac.

" Is there not another room I could stay in, I don't want to stay in the same room with Isaac ?" Xavier laughed and traced his hands on her cheeks but he had no Ill intentions.

" Isaac specially asked that you both stay in his room and you have met him, he doesn't like to be disobeyed ". Lilith could testify as she touched her neck as remembrance of what Isaac did to her back at her house.

" You should rest, take your bath and come down for breakfast." Without saying anything more, he left her in front of Isaac's room door. Even as Isaac's beta, Xavier had never entered Isaac's room which was why he was surprised when Isaac ordered it.

Lilith sighed and got into the room. Without being told she could easily tell that it was a male that inhabited that room. She walked to the closet to keep her clothes but was immediately intrigued when she saw the collection of expensive-looking clothes there.

She simply kept her bag in a corner and went to lie on the bed. She needed to process everything they were going on, who would believe that she was now a mate to a wolf and he would probably mark her when he gets back?

After hearing the rumors and the news of a possible wolf attack in the same alley his son had been killed. The gang leader started to see some truth in what the survivor had said.

It was too much of a coincidence that his words aligned with what the news reported so he released the survivor to repeat what he had said but this time in the presence of a purifier, one who had claimed to be the best in hunting down werewolves.

" I'm going to ask you one last time, what happened at the alley, what did you say killed my son?" the leader asked.
