Amelia

I paced back and forth across the room, my mind racing with worry and anxiety. It had been over an hour since he left, and there was still no sign of him.. I couldn't help but wonder what could be taking him so long.

I had looked through the window like a hundred times and I was beginning to feel that I was overthinking.

Maybe I should go see things for myself, and maybe it wasn't how I thought it was, chaos. Me bringing bad luck to the pack.

With a sigh, I walked towards the door confidently, hoping to catch a glimpse of what was happening outside. But as soon as I stepped into the hallway, I was met by a stern-looking guard who blocked my path.

“Hello.” I said softly, with a smile on my face, trying to change his mood which was obviously uncompromising.

“Miss Amelia.” He said calmly, his expression not changing.

I nodded and tried walking down the hallway but he held out his hand to stop me.
