Chapter 5

Carson Anderson ^^

Megan was on clouds when she saw Isabella's new phone, hoping that she would also get a new one pretty soon. The other night, she kept herself busy in clicking pictures of almost every single thing available in her room. She kept bothering Isabella that she also wanted a new phone but Isabella said that she didn't need one. So now, it was her mission to make her older sister allow her to buy a new when Isabella would get her first pay check. 

"Coffee, sir" Isabella said while placing the coffee on Seth's desk. 

"I need you to fax these documents" He said while giving Isabella a folder. 

"Okay, sir" She said while grabbing the documents and walked outside the office. She quickly went towards her desk and started faxing the documents. After almost 3 hours of groaning and faxing, she finally finished her work. She took off her heels and closed her eyes. I officially hate faxing. She thought. Isabella was too busy relaxing that she didn't even hear the foot steps nearing her. She heard someone clear their throat and she jumped out of her seat.

"Uh-I-I was-" She tried to give an explanation but was cut off by her boss' voice

"I'm pretty sure that you don't get paid for sleeping" Mr. Anderson said to an embarrassed Isabella 

"Uh- Sorry, sir" Isabella said while looking down. 

"I have faxed these documents" She said while handing the folder to Mr. Anderson and he took it. He nodded at her and walked back towards his office.

Isabella took a breath of relief while putting on her heals and sank back in her chair. 

Ellie was busy checking some documents associated with the new oil companies. The Anderson&Co was a company which exported oil. She was too tired of standing and reading the documents when she heard someone clear their throat.

"Yes?" She asked not even sparing a glance to the person

"I see you are pretty busy" Carson Anderson said causing her to quickly look towards him

"No, I'm free, was just waiting for your company" She bit back sarcastically causing Carson to roll his eyes 

"Well, I am just gonna go and meet my brother" Carson said 

"You just met him yesterday" Ellie said while typing. She quickly realized that it was unnecessary for her to say that to him. 

"I can meet my brother whenever I want" Carson said 

"Yeah, sure" Ellie said, dismissing him

"Why? Are you jealous?" He asked coming closer to her 

"Why in the hell would I be jealous of you meeting your brother?" Ellie whispered-yelled

"So if my brother would have been some random girl than would you be jealous?" Carson asked 

"Of course not" Ellie said, not believing her own answer. As Carson was about to say something, a voice interrupted them

"Hi, guys" Isabella said while walking towards them 

"Hi" Ellie said, mentally thanking Isabella for saving her from her and Carson's awkward conversation

"Hey, beautiful" Carson said while smirking at Isabella 

How many girls he can flirt with at a time? Ellie thought

"You didn't came to the lunch floor so I thought just to see where you were stuck, and now I see that you are pretty busy" Isabella said in a teasing tone, looking between Ellie and Carson 

"Oh, Shut up!" Ellie said while shutting her computer down

"So ladies, there is an exhibition of my paintings tomorrow night at The Anderson&Co Hall" Carson said 

"You are an artist?" Isabella asked, clearly shocked 

"Yes" Carson said puffing his chest out for a more dramatic effect

"You never told me" Isabella said

"You never asked me" Carson said, mimicking her tone 

"So, I want you both to come and dress into something sexy" Carson said while clearly referring the last line to Ellie and walked away 

"Is there something that I don't know" Isabella asked 

"No, of course not" Ellie said while taking Isabella's hand and walked into the elevator and pressed floor no. 7

Once they reached the 7th floor, they both quickly went towards a table and got seated

"Well, we have to go shopping" Ellie said while munching on her snacks

"Why?" Isabella asked 

"Because we have an exhibition to attend, silly" Ellie said 

"I didn't think you were interested in going" Isabella said 

"But, I am" Ellie said 

"Okay, fine. Come with me to my house after work and we'll go shopping together" Isabella said

"That's a great idea" Ellie said 

After work they both went to Isabella's apartment in Ellie's car. Isabella unlocked the door and they both went inside.

"My house is small, are you okay with it?" Isabella asked

"Shut up, silly. It's pretty comfortable and gives that homey feeling" Ellie said once they entered the house 

"Make yourself comfortable" Isabella said while walking towards kitchen to get something to drink while leaving Ellie in the living room

"Izzy" Megan yelled 

"What?" Isabella yelled back while holding a tray with three glasses of Pepsi and went into the living room with Megan hot on her heels

"Ellie, she is my younger sister Megan and Megan, she is my friend Ellie" Isabella introduced both of them and they both got along pretty well

"We are going shopping, Meg. You wanna come or nah?" Isabella said 

"Yes, let me change first" Megan said and walked towards her room to change into something. She came back quickly and was wearing blue denim shorts with a tank top on which had written 'Don't fuck with me'

"Cute clothes, sister darling" Isabella said sarcastically

"Thanks" Megan replied with sarcasm 

"Come on, Ellie" Isabella waved her fingers in front of the girl who was too busy drooling on Channing Tatum on TV 

"Yeah" Ellie said while standing up

After 15 minutes, they were at the mall which was near Isabella's apartment. They went in a shop and started searching for dresses. 

"Bella, try this one" Ellie said while passing her a turquoise long dress which was plain with long sleeves. She went to try it and came out after 5 minutes. 

"Umm, no" Ellie said 

"I don't like it too" Megan said 

"Me neither" Isabella said

She quickly dressed in her usual clothes and they got out of the shop because they couldn't find any good dresses there. They went inside another shop and started searching for dresses. 

"I'm going to try this one" Ellie said while holding out a dress and went inside the trial room. She got after 5 minutes with the dress perfectly hugging her body, showing her curves. It was a navy blue backless dress with two cuts just below her chest with two straps and it was a long dress. Megan wolf-whistled at her.

"If I were a boy, I would have totally banged you" Megan said earning a play full smack on her arm from Isabella. 

"You look nice" Isabella said and Ellie went inside the trial room and changed into her usual clothes. She paid for the dress and they got out of the shop. They went on searching and searching but couldn't find one for Isabella. Finally they entered a shop and started there searching hunt again.

"Try this one, Izzy" Megan said while holding a black dress. Isabella went inside the trial room and quickly changed into the dress. It was a black dress which ended just above her knees and the sleeves ended till the starting of her upper arm and the ending of her shoulder. The area above the chest was made of sheer fabric. 

"You look good, scratch that you look HOT" Ellie said. Isabella liked the dress too so she decided to buy it as it wasn't much expensive and she could afford it. She paid for the dress and got out of the shop. They decided to have dinner at the restaurant which was near the mall.

After an hour and after having dinner, they decided to go back home. Ellie dropped Isabella and Megan to their house and then went away to her own apartment.
