Isabella woke up by feeling the warm rays of sun peeking through her window curtains. It was Monday again after a very bored yet lazy Sunday. She took a warm shower and quickly got dressed in her purple colored blouse and brown pencil skirt and paired it with her brown pumps. She tied up her hair in a neat bun with the minimal amount of makeup. She took her bag and went downstairs. It had been a month since that art exhibition. She got her first paycheck and bought some essential things for the home.

"Good Morning" Megan greeted to Isabella who walked down the stairs

"Good Morning" Isabella replied while grabbing an apple from the fridge

"Meg, I gotta go. I'm getting late for work. Make sure to lock the main door after you leave for school" Isabella said while walking towards the door but was stopped by Megan's voice

"I wonder what it is today" Megan said, pretending to think

Isabella clearly remembered what it was today, it was Megan's birthday and she was planning a surprise birthday dinner for her little sister as Megan hadn't celebrated her previous two birthdays.

"I can't remember" Isabella said

"You can't?" Megan exclaimed

"Oh yeah, today is a very important meeting at the office, how could I forget that" Isabella said and quickly went out, shutting the main door behind her. She grabbed a cup of coffee for Seth from the coffee shop near the building. Soon she was inside Anderson&Co. She greeted Ellie on her way to her office.

"Bella" Ellie called

"Yeah?" Isabella asked, turning around

"Be careful, Mr. Anderson seems to be in a very bad mood today, he already fired four employees" Ellie said causing Isabella's eyes to be widened.

"Okay, I'll be careful. Bye" Isabella said while walking towards the elevator

Isabella knocked on the door of her boss' office, earning a deep 'come in' she entered the office, holding his cup of coffee in her hand.

"You are 26 seconds late, Miss Smith" Seth said, not even sparing her a glance.

"Um-sorry sir, it won't happen again" Isabella said, looking down

"Your sorry won't bring back those 26 seconds" Seth said

What an arrogant ass Isabella thought "Anyways, go and collect a blue colored file from Mr. Martin you would find him in the Management department on 9th floor"

"Okay, Sir" Isabella said and quickly went towards the elevator after leaving his office. She pressed number 9 and after a few minutes, the elevator's doors opened and Isabella got out of the lift and saw a brown door in front of her with a name plate of John Martin. She knocked on the door and heard a quick 'come in' and quickly entered the office. John Martin's office was quite spacious but not as spacious as Seth's. She saw a very attractive man sitting on a brown chair, wearing brown glasses and typing something on his computer.

He is very attractive and handsome, Isabella thought

But not as attractive as Seth, her conscience said

She shook away all the thoughts and cleared her throat to get John Martin's attention. He finally looked up.

"I'm Isabella Smith, Mr. Anderson's assistant. He told me to collect a blue colored file from you" Isabella said politely

"Oh yes, wait for a moment, Miss Smith" John said with a thick and swooning British accent

"Here" He said handing Isabella the file

"Thank you, Mr. Martin" Isabella said and walked out of the office

Isabella knocked on Seth's office two times but he didn't replied so she just decide to go in. She heard Seth's voice and looks like he was talking with someone on phone and he was speaking Spanish which she find really attractive and with an accent like Seth, anyone could be swooning.

"Yo y mi asistente estare volandoa Madrid el dia despues de manaña, el Sr. Gonzalez y luego vamos a hablar sobre el acuerdo." (Me and my assistant will be flying to Madrid the day after tomorrow, Mr. Gonzalez and then we will talk about the deal)

"Bueno, adios por ahora" (Okay, bye for now)

"Sir" Isabella said after he ended the call

"The file" she said and handed it to Seth. He opened the file and took out a paper and handed it to Isabella.

"Email this to Mr. Gonzalez" Seth said

"Okay, Sir" She said and turned around to leave but was interrupted by Seth's voice

"Miss Smith, we are flying to Spain the day after tomorrow for the meeting with Mr. Gonzalez and we will be staying there for 3 days, so you should start packing your stuff once you go to your home" Seth said

"Okay, Sir" Isabella said and left his office.

To say happy would be an understatement, Isabella was ecstatic to go to Spain. She had never been to Spain in her whole life and it would be a new experience for her. She quickly emailed the note to Mr. Gonzalez and went to the cafeteria for lunch where Ellie was already waiting for her.

"Hi" Isabella greeted while sipping on her juice and sliding in the chair in front of Ellie

"Hey, so how was your day?" Ellie asked

"Fine, I got some snapping from Mr. Anderson but that's all" Isabella said

"Okay so today is Megan's birthday and I want to surprise her but I can't think of anything" Isabella said

"That's great! I think you should take her to a fancy restaurant for dinner" Ellie said

"Yeah, that's a great idea" Isabella said, because she clearly could afford a dinner in a fancy restaurant after she got her paycheck

"And you are coming with us" Isabella said

"Sure" Ellie said

"I wanna tell you something" Isabella said

"Don't tell me you are pregnant" Ellie said causing Isabella to gasp.

"I'm not pregnant, I just wanted to tell you that me and Mr. Anderson are going to Spain for 3 days for a meeting. I'm very excited" Isabella said smiling

"That's great" Ellie said

"When are you leaving?" Ellie asked

"Day after tomorrow" Isabella said

Isabella went her home and found Megan watching an episode of Orange is the new black.

"Meg" Isabella called her but she didn't replied

"Megan?" Isabella said one more time

"Megan, are you mad at me?" Isabella said and Megan nodded

"But why?" She asked

"Because my sister didn't remember my birthday" Megan said, annoyed

"I remembered" Isabella said

"Oh really?" Megan said rolling her eyes

"Yes" Isabella replied

"And for celebrating your birthday, we are going to China Castle Restaurant" (I made the name)

"Really?" Megan screamed

"Yes, now go and change. Ellie would be here in an hour" Isabella said and Megan ran to her room with Isabella behind her.

Isabella changed into a black skinny jeans and a royal blue full sleeved blouse. She applied eyeliner and a bit of pink lipstick and decided to let her hair open. She got out of her room after talking her purse and phone and slipping on her heels.

"You look beautiful, Meg" she said to her sister who was wearing a black dress which reached her mid thigh and had spaghetti straps and her hair was open.

"Thanks" Megan said

"Happy Birthday" Isabella said while giving Megan her gift

"Thanks" Megan said and opened the box

"An iPhone 5, thanks Izzy. I love you so much" Megan yelled with happiness

"I love you too" Isabella said and the door bell rang. Isabella opened the door and Ellie stood there, looking beautiful as always in her black jeans and white blouse.

"Come in" Isabella said

"Happy birthday, little one" Ellie said to Megan while handing her the gift

"I'm just gonna ignore the fact that you called me little, thanks for the gift though" Megan said, opening Ellie's gift which revealed a beautiful watch.

"Come on ladies, let's get going" Isabella said and they got out of the apartment. Isabella locked the main door behind them and they hopped in Ellie's car and left for the restaurant.

"I am Mae Rain and I'll be serving you ladies today" A waitress who looked in her mid 20's said once they got seated in the Restaurant.

"Are you ladies ready to order?" Mae, the waitress asked

"Yes, I'll have Crispy fried chicken" Isabella said

"I'll have crullers and fried rice" Megan said

"And I'll have Chow mein and prawn soup" Ellie said and the waitress scribbled there orders and went away

"It's really comfortable in here" Ellie casually remarked

"It is" Isabella agreed

After half an hour, their order arrived and they all started munching on their food.

"It's really good" Megan said

"It is" Isabella and Ellie agreed.

They quickly finished their food and Megan said "I want some chocolate cake"

"Me too" Ellie said

"I'm starving for chocolate cake too" Isabella said and asked the waitress to bring a chocolate cake with candles on it. The waitress arrived shortly with a small and round chocolate cake. She placed it on the table and lit the candles. Megan took the knife and started cutting the cake with Ellie and Isabella singing the 'Happy Birthday' song. Megan took a slice of cake and placed it near her sister's mouth who took a little bite of the cake. She did the same with Ellie. They finished the remaining cake quickly and Isabella paid the bill. They left the restaurant and sat in the car. Ellie drove them back to their apartment.

"Thanks for joining us, El" Isabella said once they got out of the car

"It's no problem besides, I enjoyed spending time with you guys" Ellie said to Isabella and Megan

"Wanna come inside?" Megan asked

"No it's getting late, I should leave" Ellie said while hugging Megan and Isabella and muttering bye to both of them

They both got inside the apartment and Isabella locked the door behind her.

"I know" Isabella said, smiling

"Thank you so much, Izzy" Megan said while hugging Isabella

"You're welcome. Now go and change then we'll watch a movie" Isabella said and they both went towards their own rooms. After changing into her shorts and a tank top, Isabella walked towards the kitchen to make some popcorn.

"Which movie?" Megan yelled from the living room

"Just choose any movie you like" Isabella yelled back

Isabella took the bowl of popcorn in her hand and walked in the living room where the movie was about to start.

"Which one?" Isabella asked while sitting on the couch

"As I'm 16 today, so we are watching 16 wishes" Megan said

"Okay" Isabella replied back.

After the movie ended, they both went back to their rooms. Isabella jumped on her bed and slid under the covers. She couldn't sleep and decided to read a book which happened to be The hunger games catching fire. After reading for about an hour, she closed the book and drifted into deep slumber.
