Chapter eighteen

Hinata's POV

After I said that, he didn't talk the entire date and when the movie ended, I thought he'd have a lot to say about the quality or the special effects and he could've done a better job but nothing, all day, nothing as he walked me home and nothing as he got back into his car. I really hope he didn't do anything stupid.

*clack*

I heard a sound coming from the window but I dismissed it, it's raining so the branch must be knocking against the window, is what I thought but then I hear it again, twice this time. I knelt on my bed, in front of the window and looked out of it. There I saw a dark silhouette standing under the tree, even though they were looking up at the window, their wet hair fell over their eyes so I couldn't make out their face but I could tell they were crying. Sure the rain masks the fact that you're crying but I've cried enough times in the rain to tell the difference.

I know I should probably not go outside-- safety precautions and all that-- but I can't
