Grace's POV

Okay, I can't die before freeing my daughter from that monster. I tried to tell my racing heart that it is not a mistake coming here. I'm doing this for my daughter and I'll do anything for her.

The men with faces that could cause one to have nightmares stared at me with their guns ready to blow my head off. Is this how they welcome a harmless lady here? No wonder the driver was eager to leave.

"Listen, I mean no harm. I just want to see Don Davis Stone" I said with a shaky breath.

"And who said you can decide whether to see the capo when he has not decided to see you…?"

I watched as the men gave way to the one who had just spoken. The man came closer to me with his hands behind him, I wondered if he was hiding a gun behind him.
