Bubbling in the euphoria of the deal I had just struck with my mom, I drove to Ken's house that evening, I knew taking actions immediately was the best thing to do in order for me to emerge victoriously, overwhelmed by my ecstasy, I had failed to inform him of my coming,

"Surprising him with my presence and breaking the news of the opportunity I had just bagged, was enough reason to get him excited," I shrugged at my thoughts, even though it was an attempt to excuse my mistake, since he had warned me about visiting his place without informing him.
