Sorrow

The deep sorrow is not only felt by James's family. Xavier himself felt very lost because of the death of his best friend. The man just silently watched the funeral process that was so solemn.

Jaccob walked closer to his son. He patted his son on the shoulder, signaling that he was sorry for this. Meanwhile, Maria could not help but hug her first child. The woman who was aged still looked beautiful. Her eyes were puffy from crying. Maria also feels lost, especially since Maria has known James since Xavier was in Junior High School. James is one of Xavier's best friends who is always there for Xavier.

"Don't be sad, take care of yourself. Mommy is going home now," said Maria.

"Thanks, Mom." Those were the only words that came out of Xavier's mouth. He even ignored it when his parents left from there.

One by one the people who were there dispersed. Only James' nuclear family was left there. Xavier walked closer, towards a middle-aged woman who was probably the same age as his parents.

"Esme."

The woman who was James' mother turned to Xavier. She immediately hugged Xavier's body, spilling all the tears that remained in her eyes. "Xavier," she said quietly.

"I will avenge James' death. Don't worry. I promise." Xavier said.

James' mother could only nod. They were there for almost half an hour. After being forced to go home Amelia, James' sister. Finally, James' mother wanted to go home. Xavier made sure his best friend's mother came home, he and Noah even followed their car until they got home. After that, they just left to leave.

"What are you going to do now?" asked Noah, who was driving the car.

"Is Alexander awake?" Xavier asked back, his eyes looking straight ahead.

"Not yet," Noah answered softly, shaking his head.

"Where's the woman last night?" Xavier asked again.

"I brought her, home," Noah said.

Xavier didn't answer, he just kept quiet, who knows what he was thinking. The black Porsche drove at high speed through the streets. The goal is to go home. Xavier couldn't wait to meet the woman who last night, for some reason he thought that was the woman who killed James.

The car entered a very stately house. Several guards are guarding around this house. Seeing their big boss get off the car, they simultaneously bowed respectfully.

"Where is she?" Xavier asked walking into his house.

"It's in the warehouse."

Noah told him where the woman was last night, he followed Xavier who was walking towards him. The two of them were silent, the only sound was the sound of footsteps in the silence of the house.

Arriving at the warehouse, it turns out that two people are guarding the door. They opened the door for Xavier to enter. The scattered items, the stuffy air, coupled with the dust that sticks to the items there show that this room is rarely used.

Xavier saw a woman lying on the floor. There were dried bloodstains around it. But Xavier didn't care about that. He stared intently while observing the woman's body.

"Get some water and wake her up!" Xavier's orders.

One of Xavier's men complied with Xavier's request. While one of them moved to take a chair that had been cleaned. He brought it in front of Xavier so Xavier could sit down.

Xavier sat down, and soon one of his men came with half a bucket of water. Seeing Xavier's gaze directed at the woman, Xavier's men immediately understood and poured water on the woman.

Byur...

Not only surprised, Bianca's breath immediately constricted because her nose was caught by water. She tried to get up, the dizziness in her head hit suddenly, making her body feel weak. Especially when she realized that her leg was injured, making her feel pain.

Holding her breath, Bianca then focused her gaze. She was shocked to see several men in front of her staring at her intently. She looked confused by what was happening right now.

"Where is Constantin hiding?" Xavier asked sharply after the woman woke up.

Bianca was still silent, she scanned her surroundings, trying to understand her current situation. Her eyes darted around the room at the moment. Ignoring Xavier's question made Xavier quickly get angry.

Xavier's legs stretched forward. Because his position and Bianca's position were close, Xavier's feet managed to reach Bianca's feet. Xavier is seen kicking Bianca's leg.

"Hey, I'm talking to you, idiot!" Xavier snapped.

Hearing that, Bianca immediately looked at Xavier. Her body trembled with fear when she remembered if last night it was him who shot her.

"Are you mute? Can't talk?" Xavier stood up and crouched down in front of Bianca. The man gripped Bianca's cheek tightly as she glared at him.

"Tell me where Constantin is, I know you're the bitch." growled Xavier.

"I don't know who Constantin is, all I know is that you're the bastard who hurt my leg," Bianca whispered.

Xavier chuckled, without a word he slapped Bianca hard in the face. "You deserve it because you killed my friend," Xavier whispered.

He felt an excruciating pain in his cheek. Bianca woke up with Xavier's words. Killed his friend? What the man thought was the man from last night. Through pain and tears, Bianca looked up to look at Xavier.

"I didn't kill him, I even found him by accident and intend to help him," Bianca said.

"You liar." Xavier hissed.

"I didn't kill him," Bianca shouted again in frustration. The truth is he's not a murderer.

But Xavier did not believe this. He was still adamant about what was on his mind. "You're good at acting, bitch. I'll make you suffer to get you to confess."

Xavier did not have time to continue his words. Suddenly a maid knocked on the warehouse door.

"Excuse me, Sir. The great master has come to see you."

Xavier just nodded, he looked back intently at the woman below him. "From now on, I will make your life hell."

After saying that, Xavier and Noah immediately left from there. The guards locked Bianca again in the stuffy room. Meanwhile, Bianca could only endure the pain in her legs as she cried lamenting the bad luck that had come to her.
