Why?
I don’t think she is ready to hear an answer to that yet. Right now, she needs to focus on her role in all this except for wanting to know why I spared the girl — Violet.
I can lie to her and say that I don’t know why I spared her or some selfless thought must have hit me at that time. But all of this is not true.
I spared her because killing her would have killed me at that time. At first, I didn’t have any feelings for her — for my mate and I didn’t care about her even one bit. I just cared about myself and I didn’t want to die after killing her, that’s why I spared her life.
Can she hear all this? And will she even give me the chance to explain that although I didn’t give a fuck about her in the beginning, I do care about her now.
