“ Where is my brother Elias? ” I ask the black haired woman when I see her standing close to the stairs, talking to an unfamiliar man.

“ Last time I checked, he was somewhere close to the pond. ” The black haired woman replies without a delay and without asking me any questions.

“ Thank you. ” I say quietly and climb down the rest of the stairs.

Moving past her and the man with her, I make my way out of the mansion and straight to the pond.

My mind is foggy and everything is blurry to me. I don’t know if it’s because my eyes are teary or if I can’t think straight anymore.
