Chapter 61
VIOLET
A loud growl makes my eyes snap open. My heart jumps in my throat and I jolt up.
Goosebumps rise all over my skin when I scan the surroundings with scared eyes.
Another growl pierces the air, making my heart tremble in my chest.
Is it Cassius? Or someone else? But did they have to take their wolf form?
I gulp and try to calm my rapidly beating heart by placing my hand over my chest.
Slowly, I get up from the hard ground and look around me to find out where the wolf is. Everything seems dark once again. It’s hard for me to make out everything.
I hear the twigs breaking from behind me and instantly turn around to see what’s there.
I can make out the silhouette of the animal stalking towards me. I breath deeply.
It must be someone from the pack.
