Chapter 63

VIOLET

I am back in the same place — The darkness spread all across me. I am sitting on what feels to be a hard and cold floor.

For the first time, I see a door in front of me. It’s white and Golden and it stands out in the surrounding darkness.

Although I see the door, I still can not move from my spot.

The eery silence fills my figure, making me sigh to myself.

It’s a dream — a nightmare. I know, but it always feels too real to be just a nightmare.

From my right side, I see a figure dressed in white gown floating toward me. She is far from me, but I know she is my Mom.

She floats closer to me and sits down beside me in silence. I turn to look at her and see her lips move, words forming and falling but never reaching my ears.

I hardly ever hear anything in this dream. I can only ever feel and see. And right now, it hurts to see her.
