Chapter 8
The front door rattled as Adam opened it.He stepped aside and opened the door wide for Evelyn and her parents to enter.They all entered and he shut the door,Adam was about to leave the living room for the bedroom when Samantha's annoying voice stopped him.
"So sleeping is the next thing in your mind.You don't have any other business than eating and sleeping.You can think of anything apart from those two,why don't you seem to think of any other way to make your life progress even for a second".
"What have I done again tonight", Adam asked.
"What have you not done.Weren't you also at the dinner meeting.Instead of you to ask Evelyn if there is anything you can assist her with you want to go and sleep.I think it is also high time you also start earning your own meal", Samantha responded.
"Mum, just stop it.Am too tired for your bickering tonight, good night", Evelyn said and took Adam's hand pulling him along with her as she went to the bedroom.
