CIARA'S POV

I watched Tristian pace the bedroom, his hands in his pockets. I could see that he was trying to maintain his composure, that he was trying to be calm even though it was proving more and more difficult.

I knew at that moment that the sacrifices I had made for my future wasn't worth it, that I had been absolutely clueless with the plans I had made and everything I felt I had been trying to achieve.

“God damn it CeeCee, why? Why did you do it?”

He was staring me down, his face red, veins popping out of his neck.

I stood, ready to face him head on even though I was scared. I loved Tristian Ravenford, and it struck me now that I would do anything to salvage the remnants of our relationship.

“I'm sorry, Tristian. You'll have to forgive me. I know that I acted very badly but please hear me out.”
