The trip to Nathan’s place was quiet. Francesca dare not to talk about anything while inside the car and the man was glad about it. He didn’t like the idea of letting his ex-lover to his apartment, but he already agreed to talk with her, and going back to his words was not his thing.

Audrey did her best to contain her emotion inside her when someone knocked on the door. She was about to mourn again after the joyous moments she had recently. It made her realized one thing, sadness always accompanied happiness and the two of them were never separated from each other.“Miss, Madam is on the phone and would like to speak with you.” It was the housekeeper’s voice.“All right. Mrs. Vargas’ giggles echoed through Audrey’s ears. Her eyes were focused on the wall in front of her while Shane’s hands tighten its grip around her. She felt his chin on her right shoulder and his breath was fanning her neck.
