Chapter 98

Sweet, feathery kisses fluttered on Audrey’s cheeks and all around her face. She smiled with her eyes closed and let the kissing monster continue. The scene she could only imagine for years had finally come alive. Like a princess in a fairy tale awakened by her prince’s true love’s kiss, Audrey slowly opened her eyes.

“Good morning, baby,” Shane whispered to her ear. His breath tickled her skin and he knew it. He nibbled her ear. “How’s your sleep?”

“It was great,” Audrey answered. She pulled his face in front of her and gave him a peck. “Good morning,” she greeted back. She was sleeping like a log last night while the man was wrapping her with his legs and arm. Audrey never felt so comfortable despite the occasional pain she had in her back and neck.

“Breakfast should be ready. Let’s go downstairs after washing up,” Shane said and got on his feet. He offered his hand to help her up. “You want me to carry you to the bathroom?”
