After all was silent on both ships, Shane swung over to her deck and joined her at the wheel.
"Want a break?"
"For a few minutes."
As he took the wheel, she leaned up against the railing facing him.
"You take exceptional care of your ship. One might think it is your home."

Shane followed Kiera down a winding path. He tripped a couple of times trying to keep up with her. She always turned and giggled at him. This frustrated him to no end. Kiera showed up in London two weeks later. She rode in the carriage with Marvin straight to the estate. There were tons of people there and they all stared in shock when she walked through. Kiera was standing on the deck of her ship, making headay to Cuba. Marvin stood next to her as the English shore disappeared from view. They now knew where Pierre was now and they weren't going to stop until they found. Shane sat by her bed day and night. He, Lorena, Marvin, and Mrs. Wilson took shifts sitting with her and making sure she got water in her. It had been two months since she had been brought back and she still slept. Marvin wrote a letter to Gregory and told him everything that happened. He grew worried because he hadn't heard from Gregory and hoped he was okay.Two days later, the watchmen told them a ship was approaching and they flew English colors. Marvin went out to see who it was. Shane also went and stood on the dock. Shane burned and sank every ship he came across. He hoped he would come across Pierre, but had no luck. His crew noted that they had never seen him like this. Kiera took a deep and shaky breathe as everyone took their place. Her familt stood behind her, unsure of what they would hear. Shane sat in front of her and didnt know what to expect. She had been through something tramatic and now she was ready to tell them. Kiera closed her yes and started.'After I heard you tell me he was in Cuba, I got such a thrill and I couldn't wait. Shane stood in court in England. He had a private audience with his majesty. He made up a story, telling him that all the sunken ships had been Pierre. Pierre was a french pirate living on Spanish ruled island. The French and The Spanish King were in the room that Shane was waiting to enter. He wanted permission to bring him in and deal with him as a privateer would. After about two hours, the doors open and a man told him to come in. He entered and bowed before the three kings. The French king spoke first. "This Pierre is not under my protection and France will not help him in any way. He sunk my nephew's ship with my nephew on it. He is dead to us already, monsieur." Shane nodded his head to him and waited for the others to speak. The Spanish king spoke next. "Cuba is our territory. In the days that followed Pierre's death, everyone walked cautiously around Kiera. Shane was always at her side and even he was uneasy. Kiera was but a shadow of herself since she killed Pierre in such a gruesome manner. Marvin was walking out front when he saw her disappear into the jungle. He followed her all the way to Diana's cave. The old woman was waiting for her and embraced her like she was a child needing comfort. Once they went inside, Marvin began to creep up on the entrance but was stopped by Shane. "The witch already knows we are here. If we get within hearing of the cave, she'll send out one of her beasts to get rid of us." "You spy on her?" "Yes. I had to know how she was dealing with it." "And?" "Kevin." "Kevin?" "There is strong magic inside that cave." They watched and tried to listen. A few minutes later, they could hear her crying and they could hear what sounded like Kevin yelling at Diana.
