52: Lily

"Myra!" Lily called out as she walked down the community center halls. If not for her heightened sense of smell, finding Myra would have taken ages. But she knew her daughter's scent now and tracked her down to a small corner of an office room. Her daughter was curled up on a patched up sofa when she stepped into the room. Myra barely gave her a glance before she turned away from him.

"Not everyone is the enemy." Myra sniffled as she wiped her nose with her shirt.

"I know." Lily crouched down in front of her. "Your father and I were terrified for your safety, Myra."

"I get that." Myra grumbled. "But dad goes into murder mode instantly when the slightest things happen."

"A Demon nearly killing you is not something slight, Myra." Lily countered.

"You know what I meant." Myra sniffled again.

Lily frowned. She understood what Myra meant. She moved to sit beside her on the sofa. "Your father has always been like that, even when we first met."

"Really?" Myra asked as she glanced up
