53: Aiden

He held up the small, smooth and circular object up to the dim lamplight that hung over his workstation. The light brass shine shimmered from the polish it received just seconds ago. Aiden rested it on the small table before him, turning it over once. Twice. Three times. Every knick smoothed out. Every stain cleared away and polished over. It wasn't something most may not go for, but he hoped it would satisfy her until he could get her something better.

"Aiden?" Her sweet voice caught his ears before she showed herself at the garage door entrance. "There you are." She sighed. "Did you talk to Jayce yet?"

"Not exactly." He said as he picked up the object and held it in his hand. "I don't think I'm the best person for that kind of talk, to be honest."

Her scent drifted around him like a swept up wind gust as she approached him. "We can't have them fighting right now, either. Hm?" He caught sight of her white hair swaying as she inclined her head. "What's that?"
