Key to the Bathroom?!

Arya was shocked beyond words. So many strange things have happened here today and she was finding it hard to discern between dream and reality.

How was it possible that a flash of lightning would appear in a perfectly clear sky and maneuver its way to hit a bathroom door in a building and this lightning suddenly becomes a menacing beast.

A beast that could perform magic spells that made her mute and had now transformed to emerge as the most beautiful man she had ever seen in the seventeen years of her life.

With lush golden blonde hair that starkly resembled his beast fur, his eyebrows were slightly thick, his mariner blue eyes were almond shaped, a-dazzle with wonder and a sense of imperiality. They shone brightly like two blue topaz splashed into a sparkling spring and he carried a Greeek nose with fairly plump lips.

Arya didn't understand how an ugly barbaric beast could suddenly become a demi-god.

'Was that humanly possible? What exactly was going on?' she thought as she stared at the now astonishingly beautiful Amaris.

Amaris on the other hand finally relaxed seeing that the human didn't seem to hate his human form which incited an unabashed smile that he directed at her. It seemed she didn't feel terrified of this particular form, so he decided to try having a conversation with her again.

"I've introduced myself a couple of times already, human. So, what's your name?" he asked in the most pleasant baritone voice that was coated with a heart melting smile.

Arya could feel her neck grow hot at the gorgeous smile that was suddenly thrown her way, twice! Could this beast let her breath at least? She hadn't recovered from the strange occurrences following his unexpected appearance in her school and now he was flirting with her?!

Who uses such underhanded tricks?

He was the most beautiful person, she had ever seen though. She could drown swimming in his marine-blue eyes, his smile -, she thought before she shook her head to cut off the fantasies of her ridiculous mind, reminding herself that no matter how pretty this guy looked, he was still a menacing beast.

Cautioning herself not to fall into this beauty trap that will ultimately make her beast food, she regained her composure, cleared her throat and proceeded to ask carefully.

"Who or what are you? What are you doing here? Why are you keeping me locked in this ball? And how did you do that?" she asked referring to how he turned from an animal to a human.

Amaris couldn't keep up with Arya's train of thought, he had introduced himself to her three times now and she was still asking for his name? Was he missing something or was she just dumb? He thought with a slight frown of his pretty eyebrows.

"I said it before, I'm…"

"Amaris Lun, I got that. Answer the other questions." She said cutting him off, causing Amaris to stare sharply into her eyes.

Arya gulped, she couldn't believe she spoke to him like that maybe it was his current form that gave her a boost of self confidence. Be that as it may, she reminded herself again for the nth time that he was a beast, and to speak to him respectfully. One may never know, maybe her respect would touch him somewhere in his heart(if he had one) to release her and let her go home to her Nana.

However, what Arya thought of as Amaris sharp 'glare' was actually him just surprised that she could speak to him with an air of authority after shivering like a trapped prey since he arrived here.

'Interesting', he thought.

"Alright, I'm a descendant of the wolf tribe in Luna Kingdom. I don't know how I got here, I was simply taking a walk around the lake in my pavilion when I felt a force pull me into this whirlpool and here I am. This 'ball' as you call it, is a spell that locks noises from inside out, it's not a trap. As for being like this, I became human like you because it is one of my many forms. It is one of the basic things we learn in my kingdom." Amaris said with a twinkle in his eye and a tiny smile on his finely sculpted face.

Wolf? Well that's a given, Arya thought, he's definitely a wolf not with all those features that she would not like to remember. Now it was the kingdom she hadn't heard or hadn't a clue about.

Luna Kingdom? Was there such a kingdom on earth that used whirpools and lightning to get to their destination?

"So you're saying you don't know how you got here? Whirlpool? I didn't see any whirlpool, just a flash of lightning…" Arya said only to be interrupted by Amaris.

"You saw lightning? That's strange, I was definitely sucked into a whirlpool. I can still feel the excruciating pain like I was torn limb by limb." Amaris said, but as he tilted his head in confusion, it seemed more like he was talking to himself.

"So Miss err…" he trailed off.

"Arya. Arya Jenkins." Arya muttered, finally providing her name as she folded her arms and rested more comfortably on the wall. She didn't realize that she wasn't as scared of him as he was.

"Oh, Arya. A pretty name for a pretty lady." Amaris complimented as he unexpectedly reached for Arya's folded arms, released them and planted a kiss on the back of her left palm.

This obviously didn't go well with Arya whose entire face and neck had gotten red. She hadn't had any form of skinship with the opposite sex. Much less a kiss on the hand, she had never held hands with a boy before and now? This beast suddenly decides to kiss her without her permission?!

Even if it was just a hand kiss it was still a big deal especially when this human beast was so dangerously handsome!

Grabbing her hand a tad bit reluctantly from his soft grip, she said through gritted teeth, "You can't just kiss anyone's hand without asking for their permission, Sir Amaris."

Amaris surprised by her action and words wondered why she felt offended. He could feel her emotions, it was one of his many gifts bestowed unto him by the Heavens and right now, she was angry and embarrassed?

Why?

The female wolves back in his kingdom always wanted him to kiss their hands at every chance they get. There would be a line of female wolves wanting to 'greet' him at his door every morning. Some snuck into his bed at night to offer him more than just a kiss on the hand or on the cheek but he wasn't interested in that and always paid them off, handsomely. So it had become second nature for him to kiss the back of a girl's hand as a basic form of courtesy.

Staring at the girl who currently had her eyes away from him, he noticed the red hue on her skin present on her neck, ears and cheeks. He wasn't lying when he said she was pretty.

She had a pair of crescent moon eyebrows currently looking down on black velvety eyelashes. Her midnight black hair was tied into a bun with its tip resting on her shoulders with the baby hairs stuck to her glossy skin, probably from the run she .

The feature that he really liked about her however were her quartz coloured eyes, he hadn't seen anything like it before. They were gray and translucent, contrasting her vivid midnight black hair and were currently gazing at the wall behind him with pouted heart-shaped lips.

He didn't realize his actions of observing courtesy could make her so mad that her she turned red. He needed her help and the last thing he wanted to do was to make her mad.

"I'm so sorry, Miss Arya. I really didn't mean to offend you please accept my sincerest apologies, but I really need your assistance." Amaris apologised with a modest bow prompting Arya to look him in the face.

"What do you mean?" she inquired, confused because the only thing she wanted to do was run far far away from this beast so why did he suddenly want her help now? She doubted if she had anything to assist him though.

Amaris continued, "As you've seen, I'm not from your world but from what you've shared with me, you witnessed the bizarre happenings that elicited my arrival into your world. Hence, I'd like to believe that you could help me find my way back too."

"I still don't get you, Sir Amaris. All I witnessed was a flash of lightning hitting one of the bathroom doors and then I found you in there. I don't think I have any means of assisting you." Arya deadpanned.

Amaris wondered if that small space that he found himself after he arrived here was what the humans used as a bathroom. He couldn't believe it. His bathroom back in his world was the size of a medium sized hotspring. How did they manage to take their baths and soak in those white bowls?

Anyways,

"If you were present when I arrived it means you must be present when I depart or try to in this case. It's the only variable I could think of." Amaris stated with a finger on his chin.

"So?" Arya replied still trying to comprehend what the beast was going on about whilst trying to remove herself from any entanglement with him.

"In other words, you're the key to the entry and exit of the bathroom door, Miss Arya." Amaris said with a convicted nod.
