The smell of burning food swept in my nose, which made me put down my phone on the bed and walked out of the room, I was in.

I noticed the smell was coming from the kitchen, so I went straight to the kitchen, only to find Veronica trying to put out the fire with the fire extinguisher in her hands.

She sighed when she was done, and turn around but was shocked to see me at the doorstep.

"Rafael..." She chuckled and scratched her neck while I gave her a weird look, she looks cute right now.

"You almost burn the whole kitchen" I exhaled with a cough while she gave me a sorry look, holding back her cough.

"Come out," I said and she followed me out of the kitchen, I close the door immediately after she is out.

I looked at her for an explanation, and she lowered her eyes.

"I want to cook something for you,...." She stopped and her eyes went to the kitchen door.

"Ah, and here I thought you intentionally want to burn me alive" I joked and she rolled her eyes, hitting me on my ar
