Chapter: THREE

            (Rick's POV)

     I am the soon to be Alpha of one of the few Lycan packs in North America. The Forest Mountain Pack is located in the deep wilderness of the very beautiful state of Tennassee. Our current Alpha, Alpha Alix Morris will be passing his title to me in a few months so that he can finally retire and spend more time with his mate, our packs Luna, and also my mother, Luna Ava.

     As of right now, I'm on my way to meet up with my two best friends who are also my soon to be Beta and Gamma, for an evening out to chill and play a few games of pool. We have been very busy working on my mothers barn adding a few stalls so that she can ha a horse or two.

     Once I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed that the guys wern't here yet so I just waited here in my truck till they showed up. I can fell my Lycan, Max pacing around in my mind. "Dude! What is going on wih you?" I asked "Something is going to happen, I just have a feeling," He says while still pacing."What do you mean by that? Should I be worried?" I said, and felt him shake his head. "No, it's more like a happy, excited feeling." I just nod my head.

     After about 20 minutes of waiting, the guys finally pulled into the parking lot. They are usually always late for just about everything because they take forever, they are just as bad as the females at times. "Damn them pretty boys!" I hear Max say with a sigh. I just mentally roll my eyes because Max is acually right about that.

     "About damn time you two showed up!" I yell out but Nate just shakes his head while Chris rolls his eyes, then says with his most annoying fan-girl voice he can possibly do. "Well, you know we gotta look our best to be as sexy as you, handsome!" I just smack him on the back of his head and laugh.

     We order our food and drinks, then head on over to the game room. Suddenly I was hit in the face with the most intoxicating smell that I have ever smelled in my whole life. I elbowed Chris, "What is that amazing smell?" I asked as I was sniffing the air around me, Which I'm pretty sure I look like a major weirdo doing so.

     "I smell food man, what else would we be smelling?" He says with a raised eyebrow "It's not food ya damn shit head! It's more of a lavender with fresh rain fall." Max starts running around jumping and yelling something. I was pretty much focused on the scent so i kind of egnored  him. I opened the door to the game room and that same wounderful scent got so much stronger. All of a sudden my eyes locked onto a pair of beautiful bright hazle eyes of the most amazingly beautiful woman that I have ever seen, well, other than my mother.

     "MATE! MATE! MATE!! Go to mate NOW!!!!!" Max yells in my head still running and prancing around like he had done lost his mind. I just stand where I'm at, not moving. "UMMM are you just gonna stand here and watch her?" Max huffs with anoyence. "For real? She really is my mate?" I swear to the Goddess , I could feel Max roll his damn eyes at me. "YES! I'm for real you ding dong human! I wouldn't be doing all of this for nothing!"Max pretty much growls.

     I can feel the guys trying to get through the wall to link me, but I was so lost in my mates beautiful eyes. "Dude! Your drooling, pull yourself together man!" Chris says after he was finally able to break through. I just roll my eyes and him and Nate both laugh. I compose myself good enough to walk ot where my mate is setting up a new game of pool.

     After she was finished, I started the game out but ended up not getting any into the pockets. Oh Well. I step backso she has room for her turn. I decided to make some small talk and introduce myself, but I must of messed her up, 'OOPS' We make it through the rest of the game and I ended up speaking againg. "Your one hell of a pool player love." She looks to be frozen, but then she smiles and OH MY GODDESS!! What a beautiful smile she has. "Thanks, your pretty good as well" She says back. I feel like I'm going to melt right where I stood. Max is just prancing around trying to show off, even though no one can see him. I just mentally shake my head and laugh.
