Dmitri didn't come home that night.Even though he had returned a few minutes after he'd gone after Samantha and stood by Trinity's side for the rest of the night, he'd been distant.  Trinity had been working diligently to get everything ready for the fundraiser in time for the past six weeks while managing her online classes at the same time which had gone remarkably well.  The fundraiser had been a huge success through and through if there was anyone prouder than Trinity for pulling it was, it was Dmitri.  Sure, all the planning and detailed discussions and brainstorming before finalising any decision had been exhausting, but she had truly enjoyed every bit of it.
