Chapter 11 – The beginning
Melissa haphazardly put on her clothes, disregarding the undies. Hey, if they’re going to continue in his room, there’s no point wearing them. She sauntered after him. Three doors to the right, he entered his master bedroom. She shrugged upon seeing the general aesthetic of it. Typical of a bachelor.“Where do you want me?” She asked while she made her way towards the large bed. It’s not as if her past lovers hadn’t made demands in the bedroom. They have and she’s not averse to giving them what they want, as long as it’s not beyond what she could tolerate. The man removed his clothes before facing her, so she stripped as well as he looked on. He tapped the bottom of the bed.“Right here.”Only then did she notice that the bed is raised higher than the ones she’s used to. Well, he’s a tall guy. And well… is it to make it easier for him to pound a woman senseless as he stands on the floor? Her core ached at the thought and moved to where he wants her. She sat on the edge of the bed and

Chapter 12 – Reality
When she went back to her room, she grinned at seeing the money on her account. She could breathe just fine now. It was as if half her problems have been settled. She quickly paid her bills online before doing anything else.Afterwards, she rummaged through one of her boxes and found a cute notebook and a pen. She’s not used to making plans, but she now felt that she needed to. Save half of her money, huh? Pursing her lips, she grudgingly agreed that she will do that. She took a deep breath. Is she really going out to apply for jobs? Just thinking about it is already draining her energy. Well, she would need an updated resume. She knew that much. She opened her laptop and edited the document. Apparently, one-page resumes are now the trend. She doesn’t have much to put in it anyway. Just some of her personal information and educational background. Experience? Only her internship. She went to Klyde’s study to print copies of it. Since he’s out she was free to look around. All those book

Chapter 13 – Teasing
She fell asleep not long after she got back. Going around to shop was tiring. When Klyde returned, he went to his study to finish a few things. When he was called for dinner, Melissa was nowhere to be found.“Where’s that woman?” He asked with a frown. The maid felt a little scared by his tone and expression.“I already knocked on her room, sir. I have informed her that dinner is ready.”“Did you get an answer?”“No, sir.”“Call her again.”“Yes, sir.” She hurried away to obey her employer. It doesn’t really matter to Klyde. He began to eat without waiting for her. He was about to finish his meal when she arrived. She looked a little disheveled and her eyes still look sleepy. He could only surmise that she’d been sleeping.“Did you apply for jobs today? Do you have a job already?” He went straight to business. She could only roll her eyes at him and groan. “Are we in a rush? I still don’t know what I want to do. I’m carefully considering my options. I did look around earlier, but I’m

Chapter 14 – Difficulties
“Do you not mind fucking with an older man?” He asked absentmindedly as he changed his clothes.Melissa was still basking in the afterglow of their shared pleasure. “Are you fishing for compliments? Do you need your ego bolstered?”He raised an eyebrow at her as he buttoned a different shirt.“You look much younger than your age and you probably know already, your body is comparable to that of younger men. Are these what you want to hear? Satisfied?”Klyde lightly shook his head. He shouldn’t have bothered asking. It’s clear now that she’s not easily bothered by anything. That’s not even what he meant by his question.“On another topic, how do you expect me to go out early to look for a job when you still use my body at this hour? When I start working for a company, can we do away with morning sex?”He couldn’t answer immediately, but did consider it carefully. “Maybe a quickie.”Melissa groaned at his reply. Men. She rolled her eyes at him as she rolled on the bed to search for her n

Chapter 15 – Submissions
This kind of gaze from him already has an effect on her. He looks so hot and he has his way of inciting desire from within her. Melissa put the book on the coffee table as she stood. She would like to try something with him.“Why don’t you sit first?” She suggested as she acted coy, giving him space to move over. But instead of doing as she asked, he kept moving closer to her. She tried to stand her ground and not avoid him. She raised an eyebrow as he stood right in front of her. She could smell his unique cologne, musky and masculine. He squinted at her. He has ideas of his own, but they’re currently away from a wall. He would like to reenact the first time she tried to seduce him. Since the couch is closer, he sat down as she requested. For one, she wanted to know which of them would give in first. She didn’t remove her clothes and went straight to straddle him. He raised an eyebrow as she pressed her body close to his and then, she rubbed herself on him as she licked the right sid

Chapter 16 – Interviews
Well, it took more than a day. Scouting the next business area in the city, that is.Melissa realized that it’s fun, but there’s that underlying worry. Would she be able to get a job or not? She’s not exactly pressured at this point, but she could sympathize with the others she saw. Life is hard, apparently.A few days later, she finally got a call and she was asked to come in for an interview. It’s fairly easy to see that there’s something different about her. She has this air of confidence that didn’t stem from… an actual confidence in her skills or knowledge. Her confidence stems from the fact that she can afford to fail to interview. From a professional standpoint, she carries herself well. She answers in a straight-forward manner. She didn’t stammer. Her replies seem very honest. It was all good until you look at her resume, or ask her about her experiences. There’s none. And she couldn’t share anything about it. Ranking-wise, she’s lined up with the fresh graduates. It’s a real

Chapter 17 – First Job
Melissa made plenty of preparations. She did research the company but it’s not as if she can tell what the employees would be like when she gets in. Her lip twitched.Well, since Lily could bear working for the company for over a year now, it’s probably not that bad.For some reason, she felt nervous when she handed in her resume. She tried focusing her attention elsewhere but she’s still bothered by it.“What’s gotten into you?” Klyde asked her one night. He’s still working on a document at his study when she showed up. She was somewhat restless, even when she’s just trying to read a book.“What do you mean?” She asked back.“You look out of it. You seem anxious about something.” Though they’ve only known each other for a short while, he could tell something is different about her this time. She pursed her lips, contemplating whether she could tell him or not. Well, letting it out helps, right?“I have applied to a company I want to work in. My friend is there, so it should be good.

Chapter 18 – Hardship
She couldn’t stop grinning and feeling happy for the rest of the day. When Lily called, she went over to her place to celebrate with her. She brought their favorite food and a bottle of wine. Her friend is happy for her but she’s worried, too. Mel could be flexible. She can adapt to many situations… she should be good. Right? When she returned to Klyde’s place, she’s a little tipsy. But her energy is still high. Her smile was as wide as it could be as she approached the master of the house. The man frowned at her figure. He could already tell she’s not sober. That expression on her face is a little sickening as he’s unfamiliar with it.“Where have you been?” His tone was hostile but she doesn’t seem to mind.“Oh, just a little celebration with my friend.” She grinned stupidly as she reached for his arm and clung to it.“I got a job!” She stated it in a sing-song. Her voice was not unpleasant.Klyde pursed his lips, “It’s good that you got a job, but do you have to come home drunk?”Sh

Chapter 19 – Admirer
Damn was it hard. She complained to Lily. On the first day alone, she was already contemplating if she should simply quit. She couldn’t remember how many times it crossed her mind that first week. Lily chuckled and told her it’s pretty normal.“I was like that on my first job, too. Don’t stress. You’ll get over it. It’s not knowing exactly what to do that has you in jitters. I’m sure most people experience it.”“But what do I do? They now think I’m stupid. I didn’t realize how much tasks there would be. I’m not used to dealing with multiple things at once, working at them at the same time. How do you survive the month-end with all those reports?” Mel looked truly exhausted at that point.Lily made a face for her to see. “Oh, come on. They were still simple tasks. You simply need to get used to it. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll do well. The thing is, the more you’re afraid that you’ll mess up, the more you would. So, chill. Relax and just do your job. Stop thinking what would hap

Chapter 20 – Teasing a reward
Lily frowned at her when she finished relating her last week’s experience in the office.“What’s his name?”“Cedric. I was told he’s also wooing women from other departments, you included. Is it true?” Truthfully, she’s not interested in the guy. She’s merely concerned if he’s playing with people, especially if it’s her friend.Lily pursed her lips. “Are you sure? Why do I feel like you’re talking about a different person? The Cedrik I know is somewhat timid, not arrogant…”Melissa stared at her for a while. “Really?”“I mean, do you like this guy? Do you happen to have a picture?” She added, wanting to settle this matter quickly.“Well, I actually do. I stalked his social media one time. I mean, he’s cute and acted like a fine gentleman.” Her friend explained as she browsed through her phone.Oh, well. They might actually be talking about different people, which would be a good thing. She patiently waited for Lily to show her a photo.“Oh, here. Look. This is Cedrik.”Melissa dramati
