CHAPTER 90

Keleigh’s POV

Everything was pitch black, and I was running in the pitch black darkness. I couldn’t see where I was headed too, or whoever was chasing me but all that I knew was that someone was there, desperately trying to find me and catch me.

I kept glancing back as I ran, ignoring all the pains I was getting from stumbling on branches of tree. I could smell the scent of the metallic cold blood but it was none of my concern right now. I have to leave. I have to run. I have to find a way from this darkness.

Suddenly, I hit a tree, stumbling to the ground in pain. I tried to stand up but my body won’t agree with me, glueing right there on the floor. The steps of whoever was chasing me was getting closer and my heartbeat fastened.

“Please, moon goddess please.” I begged, tears rolling down my cheeks already.

But it seemed like everything was against me, even the moon goddess herself. The footsteps was getting closer and closer, and there was nothing I could do.
