CHAPTER 89

Ryker’s POV

Arnold and I were seated in front of the priestess, my legs tapping the floor rapidly in a bid of nervousness. The situation plunged in my brain, unable to leave and my head unable to wrap themselves around it.

What was Keleigh? What streamed out of her? Everything surprised me. We had thought she would wake up instantly after the light but there was nothing, only a small tug of her on the bed and she went back to sleep.

I sat up properly as the priestess appeared from the room, her eyes scanning both of us, halting first and taking her time before she moved to seat in the chair opposite us.

“It seems like you’ve finally seen it.” She said, leaning her back on the chair as she glanced between both of us.

“What does it mean?” Arnold was the first to ask.

She eyed him with disdain, a loud hiss leaving her mouth as she turned to me. They never liked each other right from the start. Nope.
