CHAPTER 88

Ryker’s POV

“That’s the only thing that can heal her, if not, she’s dead.” She added.

I exchanged a glance with Arnold who seemed to have heard something so shocking that he turned his head back like a robot.

“But she’s not even awake yet? What if she wakes up and doesn’t like it? What…

“If you want to save her..” she cut me off, looking back and forth between Arnold and I, “that’s what you’re going to do. If you can’t, she dies.”

She turned back instantly, not saying any more words as she finally disappeared from the room. I looked at the doctor who was also in shock, adjusting the rim of his glasses as he looked down after our eyes met.

I walked away from him and into the room, my heart breaking at the sight of her sleeping on the bed. He managed to stop and cease the bleeding but she was still there, paler than when I saw her and not moving.

My weight sank into her bed, a part of me hoping it’ll wake her up and just bring her orbs to stare back at me but it did nothing.
