Chapter Twenty-two

“What is surface tension?” Rabel asked.

“The effect that unbalanced intermolecular forces have on the surface of a liquid that makes it behave as a stretched elastic membrane.” I said while stuffing a sandwich in my mouth.

Ever since I got my wolf, I've been hungrier than normal. Nowadays, I eat like Alee and those wolves at her table. At home, we usually order because we don't have time to cook a barrel of food in one night. At this moment, we are studying for a chemistry assessment. Mr. Jenkins had conveniently announced that he wanted to assess our knowledge of chemistry. Everyone is panicking because we had to read everything from scratch to finish if we wanted to stay in his class. He had also announced that whoever fails the assessment would be taken down a notch - that is back to basic chemistry. Everyone complained that we were in senior class but he didn't care.

And here we are. I, Rabel, Jo, Matthew and annoying Jay are trying to remember all they taught us in chemistry
