Chapter 14

Knock, knock.

Ricardo rose to his feet and walked to the door, and with the thought that the person knocking on the door was Lisa, he ignored the peephole.

Those hours he had spent with Lisa were the best hours he had had in ten years, even though he wasn't going to accept it and he had been longing for her presence ever since the second he came back into his empty hotel room.

He heaved a sigh, relaxed himself, and opened the door, but when a pair of familiar blue eyes met his, his eyes turned glassy, his jaw tightened, and he clenched his fists in case he needed to defend himself, but when he looked around and realized that none of the man's bodyguards was with him, he unclenched his fists.

"What are you doing here?" He asked in a quiet but cold voice.

"Ric," Mr. Desmond Kincaid called.

"I don't ever want to see you here again," Ricardo said, and was about to close the door when his father's voice stopped him.

"I'm sorry," Mr. Desmond Kincaid said
